I was dancing in the stage pit on Brent's side for this one. I couldn't believe they closed the show with NFA.

But my favs are 5/8/81 and 4/3/82.

Oh, also 2/6/89 when they opened the show with it, and 2/12/89 when they encored with it.

I agree and would offer the one from 10-31-71 as a close second. Alas another one that was released as Dick's Picks Volume 2. Alas that one is also not available in any form here either.

There was a momentary "what the?!"

At 4:55 they go back into the Stephen tease riff for a few seconds.

I just had to wait a year and few months for the other shoe to drop at my first MSG show. Glad they saved that break out for me.

Who are the Grateful Dead and why do they keep following me?
